Repurposed vintage keys, "Believe" and "Trust"
I have altered two old keys that I found at estate sales. I love to use vintage dictionary pages in my work, so I have wrapped the stems of these keys with the definitions of "believe" and "trust." They are gentle reminders to keep your thoughts positive. I sealed the papers and sparkled them for a magical look. I further embellished them with some bead dangles.
I collect old dictionaries wherever I can find them. Keys too!
Oh! The third necklace is one of my layerd pieces. I use a brass bib for the base. I blacken it for an aged look. The coin focal point has a rhinestone chain around it.
All of my work is one of a kind. I may use similar or the same elements but they are always designed in a unique way.
You can find these necklaces on my Ebay sister site under the Ebay name "Oldstorybooks," where I list other vintage and antique finds. Here are the links:

Altered artisan necklaces special pricing and free shipping!
I am offering $10 off on my altered, or collage necklaces in addition to free shipping until December 18, 2011. If you see one you like, grab it now because I won't any of them exactly the same. No one else will ever have your necklace!
I am working on a new human baby sculpt, but am very busy putting up Christmas decorations and getting ready for relatives coming in from out of town so she is patiently waiting for me to finish her. I might get back to her in a few days, but then there is wrapping, baking, etc. I wish there were more hours in a day, or that I could get by with just a couple of hours of sleep.
I'll post here a couple more times before Christmas. In the meantime, enjoy the season!

New collage necklaces!

I love these necklaces! I never make two exactly alike,so just like my dolls, they are OOAK, or one of a kind. I use vintage looking stampings and antique findings on a brass base to create these "statement" pieces of jewelry. They are each 16 1/2 inches long, but I can lengthen or shorten them. To purchase, please contact me here, or buy with PayPal directly from my website:
