Twas the day after Thanksgiving....
My little model, Paul Alan
Thanksgiving dinner was way too good this year. I think my southern cornbread stuffing was the best I ever made. We were so happy to have our son, Eric,daughter-in-law, Lora, and baby grandson, Paul here with us this year. He couldn't be cuter and is a perfect model for my sculpted babies!
Speaking of sculpting, I am currently working on a commissioned 1:12 miniature piece which consists of four 1/2 inch baby angels hanging from a miniature chandelier. I am actually making miniature copies of miniatures, with the originals being 5 1/2 inches. I will post pictures when it is complete.
I won't be taking anymore commissions until after the holidays. With all that has been going on in our lives, my sculpting time is limited, but I do manage to list on Ebay occasionally.
Thank you for your continued support.

A sad day for me
This morning, I lost my dearest childhood friend, Bonnie. I have many wonderful memories of our youth. The years have gone by way too quickly. It seems only yesterday we were giggling teens. Sixty one is way too young to die. Once again, I have lost a loved one to cancer.

New fairies!
It's been so long since I have been here! I do have some new sculpts to show you. I have been working on grown up fairies for a change. I am known mostly for my children and babies. Adults are much more difficult, at least for me. I am used to baby creases and chubby cheeks. Adults have tendons and muscles so I pour over my anatomy book and my Katherine Dewey sculpting book to learn the
I have two auctions currently on Ebay. "Cara Mia" is a lovely fair haired fairy and "Always" is very unique with hand made fairy shoes and a pretty box base, which opens up so you can slip your secrets inside. Always will keep them safe.

I would have it hyperlinked for you but I can't get it to work!

New OOAK baby doll greets world on twig
I seriously like this doll. Everything about her worked out just as I imagined.
I hand sculpted the twig over a piece of wire coat hanger and then secured it in a weighted base. Quinn hangs in a silk blanket from the realistic looking twig. She is 3 1/2 inches long. The base is adorned with moss and other greenery.
What a conversation piece she is!
If you would like to bid, please look for my ebay name, Toodlesocks, on Ebay today!

A published doll!
I was thrilled when I found out that my jointed doll, Annabelle, is shown in the February issue of Dolls magazine! I have had many inquiries about her since the magazine was released. She is living in Florida now with her new owner. I promise to work on more antique look dolls that will be similar to her, but, as always, each will be one of a kind dolls.

Busy Busy!
After Christmas and a bout with the flu, I am busy working on new dolls! I have just listed a very antique looking baby doll who comes in her own wicker case. She wears a hat made from antique lace. The other doll is a sweet baby elf who sleeps in a pretty teacup. I just listed these two little ones on Ebay for 5 days. The opening bid is extremely low so have fun bidding!
